About Me

Dries Boele
Filosoof, docent, schrijver. Dries Boele studeerde aan enkele kunstacademies en vervolgens filosofie in Amsterdam en Parijs. Hij is vanaf 1983 betrokken geweest bij de ontwikkeling van praktische vormen van filosofie. Sinds 1990 werkzaam als praktiserend filosoof, in en buiten Nederland, m.n. filosofisch consulentschap en socratische gesprekken. O.a. voor Nijenrode University, Amsterdamse politie, managementteams, gevangenen, artsen en diverse onderwijsinstellingen. Daarnaast geeft hij leesgroepen en cursussen, m.n. filosofie van de levenskunst. Ook als filosofische vakantie, o.a. in Zuid-Frankrijk, Griekenland en bij de ISVW (Leusden). Hij verzorgt een training voor socratische gespreksleiders en doet onderzoek naar filosofie met het oog op levenskunst en samenleving. Sinds 1994 leidt hij een filosofisch café in Amsterdam. En sinds corona vooral schrijven.
